NEW FEATURE

WHY CHOOSE US TO DISTRIBUTE YOUR WINE OR BUY YOUR WINE FROM US??

We pay for our wine upfront.
This means we already have faith in our products. The risk is being borne by us as distrutors. No consignments.

We are a small business, distributing Boutique wine to other small to medium businesses.
It's a nice fit ! We deliver something distinct, that tastes good after the first sip.
No hard reasoning is required when you drink our wine. One simple question needs answering: Does it taste good?

Most distributors, we believe, do not BELIEVE in their product.
They are worker bees, managed by a larger company. Since we are small, we need to build trust and build excellent relationships with the vineyards we get the wine from and the restaurants we sell our wine to.

As a restaurant owner, if you want regular wine, go to the supermarket. If you want fantastic wine that makes you feel decadent after the first sip, then come to us !

As a wine grower, if you have a smooth wine, that is to die for after the first try and you want scale, come to us !

OUR HISTORY

Important Dates:

July 2003:
The Wine Project starts. I met Andrew Gordon of Austrade to tell him of my dream to sell wine in America. Tammy had been reading many articles on how successful it was and after trying some of the good stuff in the Hunter Valley, we embarked on this journey.

November 2003:
We have all the costs down…we think ;-) About 75% of the information was gathered and the rest would be painfully learned. We create the US company. We apply for the business license and distribution license.

June 2004:
The license is approved.

July 2004:
The labels are approved by the federal Government.

August 2004:
We sell 10 cases of wine.
We have the labels approved by the state Government ~ Washington State.

September 2004:
Return to Australia to seek out 4 new wines (1 white and 3 reds).
Get Export License.

October 2004:
Find Four reds (Pinot Noir, 2 x Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon) and two more Whites (Semillion and Chardonnay).

January 2005:
All the wine labels are approved in the USA.

February 2005:
Second Shipment of Wine Arrives (70 cases + 2 cases of brochures)

April 2005:
Sell the first cases of the second shipment.
We also sell our first case to a new county.

June 2005:
More than 50 restaurants have tasted our wines.

July 2005:
Over 200 restaurants have been contacted.
